IT’S OFFICIAL: MEET THE 2019 JEEP SCRAMBLER
Four Wheeler Network reported August 22, 2017:
More details are trickling in about what we can expect on the 2019 Jeep Wrangler pickup, which is officially named the “Jeep Scrambler,” referencing the elongated Jeep CJ-8 of the 1980s.
We can finally confirm that both the JL Wrangler and the JT Scrambler will have an available 3.0L turbodiesel engine with the engine start-stop feature. We still do not know if the 3.6L V-6 Pentastar or the 2.0L I-4 Hurricane turbo engines will be considered for the Jeep pickups, but it may be too early to rule those options out.
The JT pickup will have a removable top with the same options as the JL Wrangler, including a black 3-piece hardtop, body-color 3-piece hardtop, and a factory soft top.
